Author Valerie Webster discusses new book “Objects of Desire” on Good Morning Delmarva

47ABC – Award winning author Valerie Webster grew up in Salisbury and recently released another book called “Objects of Desire” that’s based in the Chesapeake Bay!

“Objects of Desire” is a crime thriller and the second book in her series with main character Rita Mars.

Valerie tells us it was importance for her to showcase the eastern shore as she found her love for reading from her trips to the Salisbury library as a child.

She says she was inspired to write the book in the swampy marsh of the Chesapeake Bay in particular because of the memories she made growing up.

She tells us it seems like the perfect place for a thrilling investigation.

But she’s not stopping there!

Valerie says there will be a third book after Objects of Desires that will be set in Ocean City.

She says she hopes people can recognize locations and people prominent to the area in her book.
