Atlantic General Health to host ‘Walk With a Doc’ event

WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. – Atlantic General Hospital is gearing up for its monthly walk with a doc event.

The event helps foster an environment where folks can get outside and get active, to learn more about physical health from the professionals themselves.

Community education coordinator, Alyce Marzola, said the event is important because it encourages more people to prioritize their physical well-being.

“It’s a step towards better health for our community, and as health care providers, our goal is to get out into the community and meet people where they are,” Marzola said.

The free event will kick off at 9AM on Saturday, March 16th, at South Gate Park in Ocean Pines
