Anonymous threat prompts lockdown at Md. State House
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland State House went into lockdown Thursday following an anonymous phone threat.
According to the Annapolis Police Department, someone made an anonymous threat to the State House over the phone at around 5 p.m. Law enforcement did not find anything suspicious in the building, and no reports of violence were taken at the State House. No one had taken credit for the threat.
The lockdown and shelter in place was lifted just before 7 p.m.
