Wicomico Co. Public Library hosts digital art and design program

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Public Library gave tech lovers an outlet to let their creativity flow.

The library held its third digital art and design session, Saturday afternoon. The program helps expose artists to different types of editing software, which can be useful for art projects and exploring.

Instructor, Melissa Howe, said she’s passing the torch to the younger generation, showing them how to navigate different artistic platforms, while immersing them into a more hands-on learning experience.

“I’ve always been an artist, and just being given the opportunity to work with new materials is always inspiring to me,” Howe said. “Making sure that kids have opportunities is just really important to me.”
