Wicomico Civic Center hosts annual Better Living Expo

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Optimist Club hosted its annual Better Living Expo this weekend.

The event featured over 100 vendors and the money raised from attendance goes to local youth in the community.

Event Coordinator for the Salisbury Optimist Club, Mike Defiore, said not only does the program help uplift the Salisbury community, but without the generous support of attendees, all of the funding they are able to provide would not be possible.

“Without the Better Living Expo, we wouldn’t have scholarships for our seniors,” Defiore said. “We wouldn’t have all of these great contests, with cash prizes for the kids, so by coming out here their helping us fund the great programs.”
