Weekend house fire under investigation in Talbot Co.

EASTON, Md. – An investigation is underway after a fire heavily damaged a Talbot County home Saturday afternoon.

At around 3:15 p.m., firefighters responded to 15 South Locust Lane for a reported house fire. Crews were able to control the two-alarm blaze in approximately 45 minutes.

Fire marshals say the fire began in a rear exterior wall, but have not yet determined the cause. Total damage has been estimated at $150,000.
