Virginia man charged in connection to 2020 homicide

ACCOMACK CO., Md. – A Bloxom man has been charged in connection to a 2020 homicide in Accomack County.

37-year-old Edwin Matias was charged with second degree murder after an indictment was issued for him late last week. Matias has been charged in connection to the September 12, 2020 murder of Deandre Abbott.

Police are continuing to investigate this murder.
