Village and Venue hosts fairytale luncheon for the community

MILFORD, Del. – A group of pretty princesses gathered in Milford for a fairytale lunch, Saturday afternoon.

The event was put on to let kids live their own fairytale and meet some of their favorite princesses.

Owner of Village and Venue, Taylor Retteano, said while the pressures of the world may be affecting parents, they wanted to give the kids the space to live in their element, and play as children with each other.

“Things aren’t perfect, but we see that, but they don’t and we’re just happy to be here,” Retteano said. “The roof could be on fire, and truly they’re just happy to be here. At some point, we lost that in our lives, and it’s joyful and it fulfills me, personally.”
