Upcoming housing fair connects community with local resources

SALISBURY, Md. – An upcoming event looks to connects those facing housing insecurity with local resources.

The free event ‘Community Housing Fair’ is being put on by People’s Community Alliance and The Fenix Youth Project.

Organizers said that the event will be a one-stop shop. We’re told those who attend can connect with housing agencies, learn about renter’s rights, and build a supportive network. “The best thing about this fair is that it is for everyone. We will have resources available for those who are currently homeless up to those who are homeowners right now,” Fenix Youth Project Social Work Intern Jullian Urand said.

The fair is on Saturday, March 9th from 12:00- 5:00 p.m. at The Centre of Salisbury.
