Seal rescued in Bethany Beach

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – A seal was rescued in Bethany Beach last week.

On Thursday, a local resident contacted the Marine Education Research and Rehabilitation Institute when they noticed a tiny seal on the shoreline in front of Sea Colony. The young seal was quickly rescued and transported to New Jersey where she is receiving proper treatment.
