Salisbury University to host second annual Black History Month kick off
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury University is hosting its second annual Black History Month kick off.
Students, and the greater Salisbury community, will gather to celebrate Black culture,
through music, dance and art.
Event organizer, Vanice Antrum, said it’s important to give students the space to showcase their talents, in a setting that promotes Black excellence. And what better day to do that than on the first day of Black History Month?
“I think our students are wanting to show how diverse and inclusive SU is,” Antrum said. “They have the opportunity to showcase their culture, through dance, through performance, and Greek life.”
