Remarkable TidalHealth surgeon passes away at 91
SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth’s oldest living surgeon has passed away.
Nevins Todd, MD, passed away on February 18th at the age of 91.
Dr. Todd was a healthcare visionary, U.S. Navy Veteran, and the grandson of the founder of TidalHeath, which was then Peninsula General Hospital. We’re told he was the only doctor until his retirement in 2000 to personally know every doctor to ever practice at the Salisbury hospital, including its first, Dr. J. McFadden Dick.
Visitation will be held at Holloway Funeral Home on Friday, February 23rd, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service in celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th, at 11 a.m. at Wicomico Presbyterian Church.
