Maryland Folk Festival announces first five acts

SALISBURY, Md. – The Maryland Folk Festival is gearing up for September by officially announcing their first five artists who will be taking the stages.

The festival is set for Friday September 20th to Sunday September 22nd.

The event is dedicated to creating a unique experience with five new artists from across the country.

The five artists include DuPont Brass, Seán Heely Celtic Band, the Pine Leaf Boys, Ken & Brad Kolodner and Melody Angel.

“She’s like this crazy mix of Hendrix and Tina Turner and Prince, so you just have to check her out.”

The City of Salisbury says they’ll have more surprises to unveil later this month.
