Parkside exacts revenge in first round win

SALISBURY, Md. – Maurice Brown’s three point play and emphatic dunk in the closing minutes cemented the Rams’ 55-44 home win against Kent Island Tuesday night.

Parkside and Kent Island went back-and-forth over the course of the first three-plus quarters. Four second half 3-pointers, along with solid free throw shooting in the fourth quarter (9-of-11) drove Parkside to victory.

Jaron Comegys led the way for Parkside with 16 points, Brown helped out with 14 points, while Cade Byer contributed 13.

Max Hershkawitz led the way for Kent Island with 17 points.

Parkside will travel to Queen Anne’s for their Regional Semifinal game on Thursday.
