Pair charged following robbery in Milford
MILFORD, Del. – Two people have been charged following a robbery earlier this week in Milford.
Just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Milford Police responded to a business in the 600 block of NW Front Street for a reported robbery that had just occurred. On arrival, officers met with the victim, who reported that they were approached by the suspect, who, after a short conversation, stole their property and fled the scene.
Officers were able to identify two suspects through the investigation. 19-year-old Leondre Williams and a 17-year-old male were both taken into custody as a result.
Williams was charged with second degree robbery, second degree conspiracy, and two counts of unlawful use of a payment card. He was held on a $1,900 secured bail.
The 17-year-old was charged with second degree robbery, second degree conspiracy, and two counts of unlawful use of a payment card and was released to a guardian, pending a court appearance at a later rate.
