One killed in Salisbury crash, police investigating
SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway following a fatal crash early Monday morning in Salisbury.
At around 5:40 a.m., police say a Salisbury woman, identified as 28-year-old Christiana McDuffie, was operating a scooter southbound on Tilghman Road, trying to cross the intersection at Route 50. A 2016 Subaru Outback that was traveling eastbound on Route 50 reportedly hit the scooter.
McDuffie was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the Subaru did not require medical attention.
