MSP investigating fatal three vehicle crash in Talbot Co.

EASTON, Md. – An investigation is underway following a fatal three-car crash in Talbot County Friday evening.

Maryland State Police were called to the area of Dover Road just before 6 p.m. for the crash. Preliminary investigation determined that a Volvo, being driven by 32-year-old David Kuzio, was traveling east on Dover Road when he crossed the center line, hitting a Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado then subsequently hit a Chevrolet Malibu.

Kuzio was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton where he was pronounced dead.

The driver and sole occupant of the Silverado, identified as 50-year-old Enrique Miguel, was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment of his injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the Malibu, 24-year-old Dayshonna Matthews, was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Cambridge for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
