Morning pole barn fire under investigation in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Fire marshals are working to determine the cause of a pole barn fire in Salisbury.

The fire was reported at around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, at 27421 Riverside Drive Ext. Crews battled the 2-alarm blaze for roughly two hours before bringing it under control.

The fire began inside the barn, but the cause has not yet been determined. Total damage has been estimated at $125,000.
