Millsboro man arrested for DUI after being found in possession of firearms, fake military ID cards
OAK ORCHARD, Del. – A Millsboro man is behind bars after police say he was found in possession of guns and fake ID cards Wednesday night.
At around 10:30 p.m., a trooper on patrol saw a silver Toyota Tacoma parked at a gas pump at Royal Farms, with the driver appearing to be asleep with the truck running. The trooper was able to contact the driver, identified as 34-year-old Michael Marciano, Jr., observing drug paraphernalia in plain view. Once out of the truck, the trooper found a 9mm Glock handgun concealed in Marciano’s waistband.
Marciano showed signs of impairment, and a DUI investigation was launched. A search of the vehicle and Marciano’s person led to the discovery of a loaded .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, loaded 9mm Glock handgun, loaded 9mm Glock magazine, fictitious Military and DEA identification cars, fictitious DEA badge and patches, 1 wax heroin bag, and drug paraphernalia.
Marciano was held at SCI on a $38,400 secured bond on a list of firearm and DUI charges.
