Milford man charged in connection to Lowes employee theft

MILFORD, Del. – A Milford man has been charged in connection to an employee theft investigation.

Police were called to Lowes, located at 20364 Plantations Road in Lewes, earlier this week for a reported employee theft. Troopers learned that a Lowes employee, identified as 50-year-old Carlos Aguilar, had reportedly taken more than $4,400 worth of merchandise since November 2023 while working in the store.

A warrant was obtained for Aguilar, who was taken into custody on Tuesday following a traffic stop by Milford Police. He was charged with theft $1500 or greater and was released on his own recognizance.
