Laurel Police release suspect photos in shooting investigation

LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a shooting that injured three people earlier this month.

At around 2 a.m. on February 11th, police were called to the 2800 block of Daniel Street for shots fired, where they saw a large group of people fleeing an apartment. Police say the owner of the apartment told them at least three people had been struck by gunfire. Laurel Police tried to detain multiple cars fleeing from the residence but when they refused a chase ensued on that vehicle using stop sticks. Several subjects were taken into custody without incident, questioned, and then later released.

More than 50 spent shell casings were found in the home and surrounding area. Three people, a 17-year-old male, 18-year-old female, and 26-year-old female were all injured.

Police have released suspect photos as well as a vehicle of interest in the investigation. Anyone with information regarding the suspects or vehicle is asked to contact Detective Ashley Gardner at 302-875-2244.
