Investigation underway following robbery at Dover Verizon

DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating after a Verizon store in Dover was robbed Monday evening.

At around 6:40 p.m., Dover Police responded to the Verizon on North DuPont Highway, learning that two suspects had walked into the store, one of whom was armed with pepper spray and a taser. The suspects then reportedly demanded that a store employee turn over property, and the suspects fled on foot with an unknown amount of merchandise.

The suspects were described as two men wearing dark clothing and masks. No further description is available at this time.
