Dover man arrested following curfew check
DOVER, Del. – A Dover man has been charged following a curfew check Thursday night.
At around 10:15 p.m., officers with the Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole were conducting a curfew check on Lekaro Rembert. During the check, officers found a loaded .22 caliber rifle and .22 caliber handgun inside the home.
Rembert, who is prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and possession of ammunition by a person prohibited. He was held at SCI on a $50,000 cash bail.
