Dorchester Co. man wins $5 million through Md. Lottery scratch-off game

WORCESTER CO., Md. – A Dorchester County man has won $5 million through the Maryland Lottery’s 50 Years! game.

Troy Deneau is the second winner of the game, after just being launched in February 2023. Troy says he’s a super fan of the $50 scratch-off and it’s the only Lottery game he currently plays. He says he’s won $100, $200, and $10,000 on different 50 Years! instant tickets.

Troy purchased the ticket at the Dash In located at 7201 Main Street in Willards last week. He says he purchased three tickets that day, with the first winning him $75, nothing on the second, and the top prize of $5 million on the third.

The business that sold the ticket will receive a $5,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the $5 million top prize-winning scratch-off.
