Diakonia request donations for veteran starter kits

Ocean City, Md- Diakonia Inc. is requesting donations from the public in order to put together ‘veteran starter kits’ for those who are transitioning from shelters into more permanent housing .

The charity is looking for items such as garbage can, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, in addition to other basic cleaning products for the household.

Essentially any items that someone might need to help keep up their home.

Additionally the organization is in need of new men’s underwear.

Any donations can be dropped off at Diakonia’s shelter located at 9748 Stephen Decatur Highway in Ocean City.
