Delaware State University to host second Black Male Initiative

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State University (DSU) is set to host its second annual Black male initiative this month. The event invites high school students from across Delaware to join DSU students, and speakers, on campus, for a day of learning and growing.
Event director, Wade Robinson, said the program helps better prepare high school students for what’s to come in college, while putting an emphasis on Black experience and Black excellence.
“The idea is to take what we do here and reach out to our high schools and talk to them about empowerment, to kind of assist them as they navigate through their current academic success,” Robinson said.
The event will kick off at 9am on February 22nd. To register, click here.
