Decatur moves onto regional final with win over Bennett

BERLIN, Md.– Decatur defeated Bennett in a final score of 77-66 on Thursday night.

The Seahawks came out of the gate and punched Bennett right in the mouth by taking a double-digit lead in the 1st quarter. The Clippers would make it a six-point game going into the locker room only down 32-26.

Decatur started to pull away in the 3rd and would go into the 4th with a 49-35 lead. The Seahawks had a 16-point lead with less than 3 minutes in the 4th quarter, but the Clippers would trim it down to 4 with less than a minute to go in regulation. They would go to the line to make it a 2 point game but they would miss both free throws and Decatur would hold on for the win.
