Darius Miller hits buzzer beater to beat Seaford

SEAFORD, Del.– Lake Forest defeated Seaford in a final score of 65-63 on Saturday afternoon.

Lake Forest started off red hot outscoring Seaford 21-12 in the 1st quarter. The BlueJays turned the tables in the 2nd quarter outscoring the Spartans 21-11.

Kashmier Wise came in clutch for the Jays in the 2nd half with some big time 3 point shots. Wise led the Jays in scoring with 17 points.

The top player for the Spartans was junior Darius Miller. Miller led Lake in scoring with 23 points.

Seaford would tie the game with less than 20 seconds left in the game off a bucket from Justin Jackson. Jackson would miss the free throw off the and 1 and the game would remain tied.

Darius Miller hit the game winner over Jackson as time expired to hand the Jays their first loss of the season and get revenge from their last match-up.
