Cambridge South Dorchester beats Decatur for the Bayside Crown

SALISBURY, Md. – The Cambridge South Dorchester Vikings beat the Decatur Seahawks 70-57 to capture the 2024 Bayside Championship!

The Seahawks led by 6 after the first quarter. But the Vikings responded quickly, taking a one-point lead to head into the halftime.

The Vikings won the game in the third quarter, taking it 19-14, and keeping a lead the Vikings would only make larger in the fourth quarter thanks to their stifling defense. Cambridge locked down Decatur in the second half, limiting them to 28 total points.

Head Coach Sean Tucker after the game said “Words can’t describe it. This is what we’ve been talking about all year we’ve had four goals all year and with this win, we’ve accomplished two goals.
