Cambridge man charged with kidnapping in connection to missing person investigation

EASTON, Md. – A Cambridge man has been arrested in connection with a missing person case in Easton.

Tiyavauna Britt was reported missing earlier this month by her mother, who told police that she had tried to contact Britt several times between January 31st and February 13th and was unsuccessful. It was also reported that the vehicle typically driven by Britt, a 2016 Nissan Rogue, was found unoccupied in the parking lot of the Easton Dollar Tree. The vehicle was found to have been left unlocked with Britt’s belongings inside, including cell phones, wallet, and other personal belongings. The mother told police that she believed Britt may be with her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth Bradley, with whom she had a history of domestic violence.

Detectives found video footage from February 7th in Great Marsh Park in Cambridge showing a man, believed to be Bradley, leaving a vehicle with a woman believed to have had her hands bound. The video also reportedly showed the man and woman talking before loud thuds were heard, which were believed to be forceful strikes. Officials say the man then drove away, leaving an unknown object on the group. He later returned and was allegedly seen dragging a female body to the back of his vehicle and driving away with it.

Investigators also met with multiple people, including a cousin of Britt’s, an acquaintance, and Britt’s employer, who all reported having last seen or heard from Britt on February 7th.

Bradley was arrested this week on kidnapping, assault, reckless endangerment, and false imprisonment charges, and was held without bail. He was also issued a no-contact order with Britt and ordered to not own or possess weapons.

Britt is still considered critically missing. Anyone with information is urged to call Easton Police at 410-822-1111.
