BERLIN, Md. – The Berlin Police Department says they’ve received multiple complaints over the last few weeks about a subject approaching citizens and asking for money for various reasons.

It’s reported that the subject has approached people on foot after parking their car nearby and then asking for help with gas money or other various items.

We’re told police have made contact with the subject regarding the issue. He’s a 46-year-old man, approximately 5’6″, 150 pounds, and has been driving a dark colored early 2000s Chevy Suburban.

If you are approached by this man, you should not engage with him and instead contact Berlin PD immediately.
