Art League of Ocean City celebrating 60 years with documentary film screening

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Art League of Ocean City is celebrating 60 years with a special movie screening at its annual Film Festival, Saturday night.
The short documentary is called, ‘A Center for the Arts,’ and will walk viewers through the history of the Art League.
Creative director for the Ocean City Film Festival, BL Stang-Moya, said the event is meant to educate the public on the vibrant art history that Ocean city has to offer, while also showing appreciation to all of the artists who have had their art on display at the facility.
“We’re using this film as a way to express our gratitude within the organization,” Stang-Moya said. “[We want to] tell people a little about the organization and why it’s so important, that this could happen in Ocean City.”
The doors to the Art League will open at 6:30PM, with the event set to kick off at 7PM.
