UPDATE: Shots fired at Dover apartment complex, police investigating

1/29 UPDATE: Dover Police have arrested a suspect in connection to this shooting.

Detectives were able to identify 20-year-old Rakim Overton-Bolden as the suspect in this case and obtained warrants for his arrest. Overton-Bolden turned himself in on Friday and was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of first degree reckless endangerment, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, criminal mischief, and providing false statement to law enforcement with intent to delay/hinder prosecution.

He was held at SCI on a $17,000 secured bail.

DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating a shooting that took place late Saturday night in Dover.

Just after 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 900 block of Whatcoat Drive for a report of shots fired in one of the apartment buildings. Further investigation revealed that several individuals had gotten into an argument inside the building, during which a man wearing all black allegedly fired a handgun, damaging the building.

No injuries were reported.
