Seaford remains unbeaten with win over Spartans

FELTON, Del.– Seaford defeated Lake Forest in a final score of 65-62 on Tuesday night.

The Jays and the Spartans were neck and neck at the end of the first being tied up at 9-9. Both teams continued to trade blows in the 2nd quarter, Seaford went into the locker room up 27-24.

The Spartans would cut into the lead in the 2nd half but would not be able to take the lead. Lake had a chance to tie it up with less than 20 seconds remaining in the 4th. Jaabir Robinson was fouled after making a lay-up on an inbounds pass, but he would miss the game-tying free throw.
