Police on scene of hazmat incident in Pocomoke

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – Law enforcement is currently at the scene of a hazmat incident in Pocomoke City.

We’re told Broad Street is closed between Pocomoke Beltway and 8th Street at this time. The hazmat incident is reportedly contained, however, the elementary and middle school students are being kept inside as a precaution.

Neighborhoods in the surrounding area are also being asked to limit outside activity at this time.
