Police investigating early morning carjacking at Del Tech

DOVER, Del. – An early morning carjacking at a Delaware community college is under investigation.

Just after 7 a.m., police were called to the campus of Delaware Technical and Community College in Dover for a reported vehicle theft. Officers could not find the victim at that time, however, she later reported to the Dover Police Department.

Further investigation revealed that a man allegedly pushed the victim to the ground as she was getting into a gray 2012 Kia Sedona with Delaware registration XQ468051 in the bus parking lot. The victim suffered minor injuries, and the suspect fled in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a slim man wearing a black jacket and white hooded sweatshirt.
