One injured in late-night Cambridge shooting
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – A late night shooting is under investigation in Cambridge.
Just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 600 and 700 block of High Street for a shot spotter alert reporting multiple shots being fired. Officers met with victims who had damage to their vehicle as a result of gunfire.
While at the scene, Cambridge officers learned that a man with a gunshot wound had arrived for treatment at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center. The 33-year-old man, who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg, was reportedly not giving any information regarding the shooting.
Through further investigation, officers obtained a search and seizure warrant for a residence in the 700 block of Cornish Drive, resulting in the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and related evidence.
