One arrested in connection to early morning stabbing in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – An early morning stabbing in Salisbury is under investigation.

According to Salisbury Police, officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of S. Division Street at around 6:40 a.m. for a reported assault with a knife. A 34-year-old man was reportedly found suffering from an apparent stab wound and was taken to the hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Police identified the suspect as a 20-year-old woman, who was found at the scene and subsequently taken into custody.
