Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Fire & Ice Festival

47ABC – The Fire & Ice Festival is a highly anticipated event that has helped highlight local restaurants for the last seven years.

This year’s drinking competition is set for this Sunday, January 14th. a

Lauren Weaver, Executive Director of the Bethany Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, tells us it’s a big opportunity for local businesses and for those looking for some fun in the winter.

Businesses you can expect to see there are Bethany Blues, Mio Fratello Italian Steakhouse, Off the Hook, Sophia by the Sea, Vista Rooftop, and more!

There will also be a live DJ and tastings.

Something new this year – Bartenders will compete for one of the Best of Base Awards and attendee’s will be able to vote on their favorite drink for the People’s Choice Award.

But what Weaver says she’s most excited for is the opportunity to support Beebe Health Care and bring awareness to non-profits.

The competition will be hosted at Mangos this year.
