Good Morning Delmarva discusses Mountaire Farms scholarships

47ABC – If you’re thinking about attending college than this may be a great opportunity for you!

Mountaire Farms is giving out multiple scholarships for those planning to attend college this year.

Zach Evans, the Senior Mountaire Cares Manager, discussed this unique opportunity and its requirements on Good Morning Delmarva.

Zach tells us they offer up to $2,500 in scholarship money and that they only require you be a child or grandchild of a Mountaire employee, Chicken Farmer, or Grain Farmer.

He says this can apply to thousands of students on Delmarva as they work with many farmers in the area.

Zach also points out that you don’t have to be studying agriculture to receive a scholarship.

These scholarships are to help students in need of more resources.
