Felton man arrested for shoplifting at Royal Farms

FELTON, Del- On Sunday, December 18th, 2023 shortly after 3:00 pm Felton Police Department responded to a call at the Felton Royal Farms for a late report of shoplifting.

On December 17th a man entered the store and removed consumable goods from the store without rending payment.

Police were able to identify the suspect through surveillance footage from Royal Farms.

The suspect was identified as 56-year-old Charles Knott of Felton, Delaware.

Knot turned himself into the Felton Police Department on January 30th, 2024.

Knot was arrested and charged with shoplifting under $1,500 (class A misdemeanor) and was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court.

He was released on his recognizance pending a later court date and was issued a no-contact order with the Felton Royal Farms.
