DSP helps DNREC rescue man and dog in woods

DELAWARE – Delaware State Police’s Aviation Section came to the rescue Thursday night, assisting DNREC to help find an elderly man and his dog after they got lost in the woods of Cape Henlopen State Park.

Their helicopter crew was able to locate the missing man and his loyal companion and guide responders to his location. He was able to make it out of the woods and home safely.
