Downtown Salisbury Harriet Tubman historical event

SALISBURY, Md. – Scholars for Stem, Faith Over Fear, and Yes We Can will host an event this weekend to celebrate the legacy of Harriet Tubman.

The event will take place this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Beacon of Hope statue in Downtown Salisbury. Historian Tony Cohen will give a presentation on Tubman’s legacy, and during the event organizers will be taking non-perishable food items for the James M. Bennett Food Pantry.
