Delmarva Power gives helpful tips to help save money during colder months

DELMARVA – With the frigid temperatures, power providers are advising their customers to stay prepared.

Delmarva Power said you can also save a little bit of money during these peak months.

Company spokesperson, Candice Womer, said paying attention to your home’s temperature, and lowering it if you’re able to, can save some dollars. You can also look into installing a device to help track and manage the internal temperature.

“If you set your thermostat just a few degrees lower, if health permits, that can save you on your energy bills,” Womer said. “It can help you manage it that way, so just keeping an eye on your thermostat and investing in a smart thermostat can also be helpful.”
