City of Cambridge on the hunt for committee members
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The city of Cambridge is looking for volunteers to take on roles on some of their many committees.
Two of those committees, in particular, are the ethics commission and the police board.
Cambridge is looking for someone who will be able to enforce the code of ethics in the city, and someone to handle citizens’ complaints.
Assistant city manager, Brandon Hesson, said the roles are important, as they help hold the city accountable.
“It’s super important for us to have residents reflected on these committees, so we know that the work we’re doing represents the work that the residents really want,” Hesson said.
