Central vs. Tech game suspended due to fighting in the stands

GEORGETOWN, Del.– The Sussex Central/Sussex Tech boys basketball was suspended on Thursday night due to fighting in the stands.

It was a close match-up  throughout the whole game. There was tension between both squads throughout the first half. Sussex Tech starting point guard Kyle Thompson received two technical fouls in the 1st half, the 2nd one being in the 2nd quarter after making a gesture towards the Central bench.

According to information we have obtained, Sussex Tech said they have suspended the whole game and would not say if there was any plans to resume.
