Bryan Shupe Announces Reelection Campaign

DELAWARE- State Representative of Delaware’s 36th District Bryan Shupe announced this morning that he will be seeking reelection.

Shupe is a Milford native who graduated Milford High School before attending the University of Delaware where he graduated with a degree in political science.

He has served as a representative in the Delaware State House since 2018.

We asked about what his priorities will be if reelected, and he told us that education is something he looks to improve on in 2024:

“Moving forward into 2024 one of my big focuses is education/the education system in the state of Delaware. We have an education system where the proficiency ratings are quite shocking. Only 47% of children are proficient in English. And only 29% are proficient in math…”

Shupe stated that he will seek to provide parents with more school choice options, and improve support for teachers in the state.
