Bayhealth announces weather-related closures for Friday

DELAWARE – Bayhealth has announced several weather-related closures and changes for Friday.

For the safety of its patients, clinicians, and team members, the following will be in effect:

• All Bayhealth Medical Group practices and Bayhealth physician practices will close at 2 p.m.
• All Bayhealth Outpatient Services, including Imaging, Lab, Oncology, Outpatient Therapies, Wound Care, etc. will close at 2 p.m.
• Bayhealth Occupational Health Dover and Milford will close at 2 p.m.
• Bayhealth Walk-In in Milford will close at 2 p.m.

Hospitals and emergency departments will remain open to care for patients. This includes Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus, Bayhealth Hospital Sussex Campus, Bayhealth Emergency and Urgent Care Center, Total Care, and Bayhealth Smyrna Emergency Department.

Bayhealth is working to notify patients of these changes and is offering alternatives to in-person appointments such as telehealth and moving appointments earlier in the day if possible.
