Appeal oral argument set in Gavin Knupp hit and run case

WORCESTER CO., Md. – Tyler Mailloux, the man accused in the 2022 hit-and-run death of Gavin Knupp, is scheduled to appear in court again.

An appeal oral argument has been scheduled for March 1st in the Appellate Court of Maryland.

Mailloux was charged in connection to the incident in early May 2023, but the charges were dismissed in August due to lack of jurisdiction. The State filed an appeal as a result of this decision.

Gavin Knupp was hit and killed on July 11, 2022, on Grays Corner Road in Berlin.
