Woodbridge holds on to take down Easton

SALISBURY, Md.– Woodbridge defeated Easton in a final score of 78-73 in day 2 of the Governors Challenge.

Woodbridge came out of the gate red hot as they outscored the Warriors 24-9 in the first quarter. Easton flipped the script in the 2nd quarter by outscoring Woodbridge 28-9. The BlueRaiders took back control in the 3rd quarter and never looked back to hold on for the win.

Top scorer for Woodbridge was Traci Johnson with 24 points. He shot 6-16 from the field but went 12-14 from the free throw line.

Top scorer for Easton was Marshall Bailey with 28 points. He shot 11-17 from the field, 1-2 from 3 point land, and also finished with 7 rebounds.
